1.Overview

This documentation explains how to hold and verify M5 Legacio (M5L), how the token sale and vesting work at the contract level, and where to find each part of the M5DEX ecosystem. Every technical detail here was taken from the verified source code and live state of the deployed contracts on BNB Smart Chain.

The contracts are the source of truth. If anything in this documentation ever differs from the deployed contracts, the contracts prevail. Section 4 shows how to check the token yourself.

3.Add M5L to your wallet

M5L is supported natively in M5Wallet. In any other wallet that supports BNB Smart Chain, add it as a custom token:

  1. Switch your wallet to BNB Smart Chain (chain ID 56).
  2. Choose Import token or Add custom token.
  3. Paste the contract address 0x8D668F33621b5c664F29de0A7F5336947fCba98e.
  4. Confirm the wallet shows the symbol M5L and 18 decimals.
If the symbol or decimals don’t match, stop. You have the wrong contract. Tokens copying the M5L name can exist on many networks — only the address above is M5L.

4.Verify the token yourself

Open the token on BscScan and use Read Contract, or call these functions from any BNB Smart Chain RPC endpoint:

FunctionReturns
name()M5 Legacio
symbol()M5L
decimals()18
totalSupply()5,000,000,000 M5L (5,000,000,000 × 10¹⁸ base units)
MAX_SUPPLY()5,000,000,000 M5L

The token is a standard ERC-20 implementation whose constructor mints MAX_SUPPLY exactly once, to the deploying address. The verified source contains no other minting path, no owner, no fee or tax logic, no blacklist and no proxy — which is why totalSupply() can never exceed the maximum.

5.How the token sale works

The sale runs in two rounds, each with its own contract. Both are priced at $0.10 per M5L and paid in USDT on BNB Smart Chain.

Before you buy

  1. Get your wallet approved. Each sale contract holds a purchase limit for every wallet, set by M5DEX. A wallet without an approved limit cannot buy — its transaction reverts with BuyerNotApproved. Start from the official sale portal at privatesale.m5dex.com.
  2. Fund your wallet. You need USDT on BNB Smart Chain for the purchase and a small amount of BNB for network fees.
  3. Approve USDT. Authorise the sale contract to spend the USDT you intend to pay — and only that amount.
  4. Buy. Purchases call buyWholeTokens(wholeTokens) to buy an exact number of M5L, or buyWithPayment(paymentAmount, minimumTokensOut) to spend an exact USDT amount.

What the contract checks

  • The round is open: not paused, not closed, and between its start and end time.
  • The purchase is at least 1,000 M5L.
  • Your total purchases in that round stay within your approved limit.
  • The round has enough allocation left.

What happens when you buy

Your USDT is transferred straight to the treasury, and the M5L you bought is recorded as an allocation for your wallet in the sale vesting contract. Nothing is sent to your wallet at purchase time — you claim M5L from the vesting contract from the TGE onwards (Section 6). There is no refund function.

Check before every purchase. On the sale contract you are about to use, confirm SALE_PRICE_CENTS() returns 10 and quoteWholeTokens(1000) returns 100 USDT. Also useful: isOpen(), buyerLimit(wallet), purchasedTokens(wallet) and remainingTokens().

6.Vesting and claiming

Vesting starts at the Token Generation Event, 20 August 2027 · 09:00 UTC, a time fixed in the vesting contract.

Fully vested11 May 2029, 09:00 UTC15 July 2028, 09:00 UTC

How the vested amount is calculated

For each allocation, the vesting contract’s vestedAmount function returns:

  • Before TGE: nothing.
  • From TGE until the cliff ends: the TGE percentage of your allocation.
  • During linear release: the TGE amount plus the rest of your allocation, released in proportion to the time elapsed.
  • After linear release ends: your whole allocation.

Claiming

Claim from the sale vesting contract with claim(round)0 for the private round, 1 for the public round — or with claimAll() to claim both. Check what is available first with claimable(wallet, round), and see your full position with grantOf(wallet, round). Claims are made by, and paid to, the wallet that holds the allocation.

The token, sale vesting, private sale and public sale contracts are verified on Sourcify, so their source code can be read and compared with the deployed bytecode.

8.Administrative controls

The token contract has no owner. The sale and vesting contracts share an owner role, currently held by 0x29F7ECF9702Ff4A8233300C63ac8d186579B8b0e. That role can pause purchases, set per-wallet purchase limits, release M5L held above all obligations to the treasury, and recover non-M5L tokens sent to the vesting contract by mistake.

It cannot change prices, allocations, round times, the TGE or the vesting schedules, and cannot touch M5L allocated to participants. The full list, and what it means for you, is in the Risk Disclosure.

10.Security checklist

  • Bookmark m5dex.com and the sale portal, and reach them only through your bookmarks.
  • Check every contract address against Section 7 before approving or sending anything.
  • Read the sale price on-chain before you buy.
  • Approve only the USDT amount you intend to spend, and revoke approvals you no longer need.
  • Never share your recovery phrase or private keys — M5DEX will never ask for them.
  • Be suspicious of anyone who messages you first, offers a special price, or promises returns or staking yield.

11.Frequently asked questions

I bought M5L. Why isn’t it in my wallet?

Purchases are recorded as an allocation in the sale vesting contract, not sent to your wallet. You can claim from the TGE on 20 August 2027 · 09:00 UTC, following the schedule in Section 6.

Why did my purchase fail?

The most common reasons: your wallet has no approved limit (BuyerNotApproved), the purchase is below 1,000 M5L (BelowMinimum), it would exceed your limit (BuyerAllocationExceeded), the round is not open or purchases are paused, your USDT allowance or balance is too low, or you don’t have enough BNB for fees.

Is the private sale cheaper than the public sale?

No. Both rounds are priced at $0.10 per M5L. They differ in allocation size and vesting schedule.

Can I get a refund?

No. Payment goes straight to the treasury, and the sale contracts have no refund function.

Can more M5L ever be created?

No. The full supply was minted once at deployment and the token contract has no mint function.

Is there M5L staking?

Not today. Staking and governance are planned future utility. Anyone offering M5L staking or yield now is not acting for M5DEX.

What happens to unsold tokens?

Once both rounds are closed and the TGE has passed, any unsold sale allocation can be released from the vesting contract to the treasury.
